1997 Pontiac Grand Am GT Sedan

After my white 1997 Grand Am SE sedan was totalled, I needed a replacement car quickly. I really liked the ride quality of the 96-98 Grand Ams, so I went looking for another one. Ideally, I had wanted a 2 door GT coupe, in black, with the 5-speed manual and the 2.4 TwinCam. There weren't many around (they're quite rare), so I settled on this sedan. It was well appointed and with the exception of a few items, it was in pretty decent shape. I paid $4,500 total for the car and kept the car for about 2.5 years. Unfortunately, I had a lot of things go wrong with it (Transmission, catalytic converter, etc). After having purchased a new car in 2006 ( the Pontiac Solstice), I no longer needed it. I sold the car for $1,500. With repair costs and everything, that comes to about $150 a month for ownership.

- The family car...

Here are a couple of pictures of the car. I'll try to find some more with interior shots, but this is all I can find right now.

- Car sold on eBay...

Although I liked this car, it's really a temporary vehicle for me. I received my 2006 Pontiac Solstice in December, and I no longer need this car. I've sold it on eBay for $1,500. This will be my last update on this car.
