1984 Pontiac Fiero 2m4 SE

I bought this car in 1998. I owned the car for about 9 years, from 1998 to early 2007. I purchased the car from a lady who lived in my apartment complex. She had owned this car since new, and drove it down from North Dakota. I tried to take care of this car as best as I could, but it honestly gave me a lot of trouble over the years. I put a total of 20 some odd thousand miles on this car, and used it as a loaner. The car appeared to be a real immaculate survivor, but it had tons of rust under the body, and the paint was a respray. It looked good for a long time, but after sitting outside in the Florida sun for 5 years (even with a car cover), it began to peel and chip. I eventually sold the car to my friend for a bottle of Jamaican Rum. He later sold the car to his friend who blew the timing gears. I'm not sure what he's done with the car, but I imagine that he'll end up selling it. UPDATE - (2/12/2010) A person posted a question in the tech area of the Fiero Forum and as it would turn out, it was my old 84. He was fixing up the car to give to his dad. So at least at this point, it's still on the road (somewhere).
